Autumn is slowly drawing to a close, with the winter solstice around the corner.
Our walks are getting more wet and muddy. The sky displays gorgeous and ever changing artwork reflecting the light of the sun, hiding somewhere behind the clouds…
Wakehurst is one of my favourite place around here… I always enjoy spending time there, it’s such an inspiring location…
Especially at this time of the year. Here are some photographs of our day there…
Dear friends,
First of all thank you. If you have ever attended any of my workshops, you may know how I like to stress out the importance of gratefulness. Gratitude is like magic. It is a beacon of light that can shine when we find ourselves in the dark. It’s a key. It opens doors. Especially the door of our hearts. When one is generating a feeling of gratitude, one’s heart grows a few sizes bigger. And we can access that vast landscape. This openness takes us to oneness with Nature.
I have been busy. I am sure you have too. Who isn’t busy these days?
Boy and sticks…
Today we went for a walk in the woods, just before sunset…
“Dawn was breaking over the horizon, shell pink and faintly gold…”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
You know, this particular moment between night and dawn…
During my daily stroll in the woods this morning, everything was wet and very muddy.
The streams were running very fast, the ferns, the tree trunks, the mushrooms and even the moss look all glossy and wet. So wet…
I decided to photograph portraits of some of the trees I walked amongst, to capture how they look when wet… All the photos were taken during this morning’s walk. I hope you’ll get to feel the atmosphere of this wet, windy, wonderful, whimsical, woodland, wordless walk… (Any more w words?).
